Ali Matar
Ali is the founder of The Spoken Arabic School and the driving force behind its vision. A Lebanese entrepreneur and educator, he has dedicated years to building the first complete ecosystem for spoken Arabic dialects. His mission is simple: to make learning Lebanese Arabic accessible, fun, and practical for learners worldwide. Through books, courses, and innovative tools, Ali has helped thousands transform “khalas” moments of frustration into real conversations in Arabic.
Assia West
Assia is a professional tutor and native speaker of Darija, the Moroccan Arabic dialect. With years of teaching experience, she specializes in helping learners break through the barriers of Morocco’s unique blend of Arabic, Berber, and French influences. Assia’s teaching style combines patience with cultural storytelling, making Moroccan Arabic come alive in every lesson. She has guided hundreds of students to confidently speak and understand Darija in real-life situations.
Hamid Mostafa
Hamid is passionate about sharing the richness of Egyptian Arabic, the dialect spoken and loved across the Arab world. Born and raised in Cairo, he brings the humor, rhythm, and warmth of Egyptian culture straight into his teaching. With his guidance, learners not only pick up everyday expressions but also gain an authentic feel for Egyptian movies, music, and daily life. Hamid makes the journey of learning Egyptian Arabic as entertaining as it is rewarding.
