Ali Matar

Hi, I’m Ali Matar founder of The Spoken Arabic and creator of the Lebanese Arabic Accelerator (LAA).

I started teaching Lebanese Arabic because I saw a huge gap: there were plenty of books and courses for Modern Standard Arabic, but almost nothing to help people actually speak the real language that Lebanese people use every day.

Since 2018, I’ve helped thousands of students around the world learn Lebanese Arabic through my books, online courses, and now Fluency Club. My mission is simple:
